Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ravine website and services, including Ravine accounts, paid modules, Learning Trails, and engagement services. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. Use of the Ravine mobile application is further governed by the Ravine App Privacy Statement and Terms of Use.
Company Name and DBA
These Terms are between you and Radicle B LLC. Radicle B LLC currently operates under the assumed name Ravine, and references to “Ravine” “we,” or “our” refer to Radicle B LLC.
Educational Purpose and No Advice
Ravine provides educational and informational content only. Nothing on the Site, in any Ravine Learning Trail, email, or other Ravine material constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or professional advice. Nothing presented by Ravine is a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, borrow, use, or rely on any asset, product, platform, service, wallet, exchange, or strategy. Your use of Ravine does not create a fiduciary, advisory, broker, client, attorney-client, tax professional, or other professional relationship. Your decisions remain your responsibility, and you should consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are 18 years old or older, you may use the Services, create a Ravine account, and make purchases. If you are 13 to 17 years old, you may do so only with the approval of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
Your Ravine Account
Some content requires a Ravine account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password confidential, and for activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared. Contact us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Purchases and One-Time Payment Model
Ravine does not offer subscriptions at this time. Purchases for paid modules and Learning Trails are one-time payments unless a specific offering page clearly states otherwise. Purchases may be completed through the Site using the checkout and payment tools made available by Ravine, including Square as the current payment processor.
Content License and Permitted Use
When you purchase a paid module or Learning Trail, you receive a limited, non exclusive, non transferable license to access it for your personal use. Sharing, reselling, redistributing, or publicly posting paid materials is not permitted. Paid content is delivered inside your Ravine account rather than as files to download, and your access continues for as long as the offering is available and your account remains in good standing. Access ends if the purchase is refunded, if the account used to make the purchase is deleted, or if access is terminated under these Terms.
Your Progress and Written Entries
Your progress and your Ethos Trail entries, including your Ethos Statement, are saved to your Ravine account. Your Ethos Trail entries are private to you. Ravine does not show them to other participants, publish them, or use them in marketing. Your entries remain yours, and Ravine handles them as described in the Privacy Statement. Trail Feedback submitted at the end of a Learning Trail is not a private entry and is read by Ravine.
No Refunds for Paid Modules and Learning Trails
All sales of paid modules and Learning Trails are final. This includes the Ethos Trail. Ravine does not offer refunds for these purchases, except where required by law or where Ravine, in its sole discretion, issues a refund. A refund ends access to the refunded content.
Engagement Services and Delivery
Engagement services consist of Ravine’s support of, and contribution to, Bitcoin education projects, and may include tool design, software development, project planning, and learning content. Engagement services are arranged by inquiry and are not purchased through the Site. Ravine reviews each inquiry and determines, in its sole discretion, whether to participate in a project. Submitting an inquiry does not create an agreement or any obligation on the part of Ravine. The scope, deliverables, timeline, fees, and ownership of any work product for an engagement will be set out in a separate written agreement. When you submit an engagement inquiry, Ravine will review your request and follow up by email. Ravine generally responds within 24 to 48 hours to the email address provided.
Changes and Cancellations for Engagements
Changes to the scope or schedule of an engagement, and the cancellation of an engagement, are governed by the written agreement for that engagement, and those terms are incorporated into these Terms.
Pricing and Payments
Prices are displayed on the Site or provided in writing for custom engagements. The price displayed at checkout for a paid module or Learning Trail is the total amount charged. Ravine currently uses Square as its third-party payment processor for purchases made through the Site. Payment information is processed by Square, and Ravine does not store your full payment card information. Your use of Square or any other payment-related service may be subject to that provider’s own terms, policies, and security practices.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, videos, graphics, logos, designs, course structure, and written materials, is owned by Radicle B LLC or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Use of Radicle B LLC trademarks, branding, or content outside the permitted license requires written permission.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Services in unlawful, harmful, disruptive, or abusive ways. Attempts to gain unauthorized access, scrape content at scale, interfere with Site functionality, share paid materials, or harass others are prohibited.
User Submissions and Testimonials
If you submit Trail Feedback, testimonials, or other content to Ravine outside of your private Ethos Trail entries, you grant Radicle B LLC permission to use that content to operate and improve the Services. Testimonials may be used for marketing in a way that does not intentionally misrepresent your words. Private Ethos Trail entries are never used this way. Personal information included in submissions is handled according to the Privacy Statement.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an as available basis. Ravine does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error free operation, or specific outcomes from using educational content. Examples, stories, scenarios, or frameworks are provided for educational purposes and do not guarantee results. Live Bitcoin data shown on the Site comes from public third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Radicle B LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Services. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Radicle B LLC’s total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Radicle B LLC for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months before the event that created the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Radicle B LLC from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another person or entity.
Termination and Access Restrictions
Radicle B LLC may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraud, shared paid materials, or harmed the integrity of the platform. Termination may result in immediate loss of access, subject to any non waivable rights under applicable law.
Third-Party Services and Links
Ravine relies on a limited number of third-party providers for hosting, database services, security, aggregate site analytics, email delivery, typeface delivery, and payment processing, as described in the Privacy Statement. Certain pages display live Bitcoin data that your browser requests directly from mempool.space and alternative.me. Bitcoin price and 24-hour change figures on the Site come from mempool.space, and market capitalization is calculated from that price and the number of Bitcoin mined to date. These figures are provided as is, without any warranty that they are accurate, complete, or current. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms, policies, privacy practices, and security practices. Radicle B LLC is not responsible for the availability, operation, content, policies, or practices of third-party services.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree that disputes will be brought in state or federal courts located in Ohio, unless a different process is required by law. You agree to contact Ravine first to attempt informal resolution before filing a formal claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The Last Updated date shows the date of the latest revision. If Ravine makes a material change, Ravine will provide notice on the Site or by email to account holders. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
